NYBFW RECAP PT. 2: RISH BRIDAL RAY OF LIGHT

Happy Friday friends. Let me tell you. I am STILL going through photos from about a week ago which means you can expect NYBFW recaps until AT LEAST the end of the month. Yee-ha! (Sorry the caffeine is finally kicking in…either that or I’m losing it because I’ve been chained to my computer).
Just a quick note before I jump into this post. I’ll be attending two events this Saturday for Wedding Weekend hosted by the Bridal Council, so please please please stay tuned on stories. You won’t want to miss it.
Anyway, for part 2 of my Rish Bridal recap, I’ll be talking about the newest collection, Ray of Light. I’ve included the description of what you can expect from the collection as sent by the brand a little further down in this post, but in all honesty the gowns truly speak for themselves.
When I had the opportunity to help with their market appointments last year, I found myself being like “Oh I could do this boho thing.” If you know me, my bridal aesthetic is pretty much grand AF (think of the designers based in Dubai…Yes I am THAT girl). I really need to have 18 weddings (all to the same person) so I can get all of these dress styles out of my system….Or designers need to help me out and just start making ugly designs! Anyway, here’s a little bit about the collection:
A blend of airy, comfortable, and yet breathtaking boho glam designs that will allow you to shine while walking down the aisle in grace and style.
These gowns are a flawless assortment of versatile designs, intricate silhouettes, subtle open backs and trendy necklines along with sexy and classic cuts.
The collection introduces 20 breathtaking bohemian inspired designs that include silhouettes such as: Fit and flare, A-line, trumpet, fitted, and more, with the unique Rish hallmark elements like plunging necklines, lace cap sleeves, sheer fabrication, exquisite beading and stunning floral lace.
The Ray of Light Collection truly embodies a lot of the major trends while still keeping that gorgeous Rish Bridal feel. Tiered skirts (love those hence my choice of hero image, the Marley Gown), unique sleeves, and all lace looks are just some of the trends you can expect to see. They also make these GORGEOUS robes that you can wear over your gown to get two looks in one or for getting ready. I am in love with the Marilyn robe. Definitely purchasing when my time comes!
