Welcome to LuxeBrideGuide, where I share bridal inspo for the luxe bride-to-be.
While I have always loved weddings, the story really begins at my local Panera Bread eating dinner with my mom and dad. As a freshman at the Fashion Institute of Technology, I really wanted an internship. My mom suggested Kleinfeld Bridal, and the rest is history.
Throughout my ten years of working in the bridal industry, I’ve seen thousands of gowns, witnessed hundreds of gown appointments, been the target of bridezilla-ism, appeared in a few episodes of Say Yes to the Dress, and have even worked with some of the best designers out there.
This blog is my space to help brides-to-be and wedding enthusiasts alike by offering my experience with some sass, fun, and of course, enthusiasm for the industry. While the tagline of LuxeBrideGuide is “wedding inspo for the luxe bride-to-be” (and boy do I love me some luxury), I just want to say that any bridal budget is a great budget! This is just a place to curate inspiration from the best of the best. That being said, I hope this blog gets your creative juices flowing or at the very least makes you forget about how peonies totally aren’t in season and now you have to sell one of your kidneys.
And just a few fun facts about me….
*I danced from the age of 4 to 18 and competed since I was 11.
*I graduated from FIT with a bachelor’s in Fashion Merchandising Management with dual specializations in buying/planning and product development. Although my writing doesn’t always reflect it (I like to keep it casual on here), I also have a minor in English.
*When I graduated with my associate’s degree in 2014, I was the Valedictorian of FIT’s School of Business & Technology.
*I was a panelist for The Bridal Masterclass in Philly in 2019.
*If I didn’t work in social media/fashion, I would be a registered dietitian. (Technically I would be a fashion designer, but I can’t sew to save my life).
*I’m very much an introvert unless I’m on a stage or public speaking. If you see me at any industry events, please come and say hi.
*I MAYYYY have already tried on and picked out my wedding gown (aka, I totally have, perks of having a client who is a designer).
*Speaking of clients, my full-time job is social media management and writing, and I also work in event design on the side.
